dc.description.abstractPrecision calibration of astronomical spectrographs is essential to the hunt for exoplanets, the study of cosmology and determining variation of the fundamental constants. Frequency combs (‘astrocombs’) can serve as real-time references, providing unprecedented accuracy and precision. Here we provide a brief overview over demonstrated astrocombs and recent advances.
