Abstract
Compliant mechanisms are monolithic mechanical devices that achieve motion through the elastic deformation of their flexible joints. These systems exhibit no wear, backlash, friction, or lubrication needs, making them ideal for applications requiring high precision, reliability, and operation in harsh environments, such as aerospace guiding mechanisms.
