DEVELOPMENT OF A BEAM STEERING MIRROR WITH HIGH POINTING STABILITY AND RESOLUTION

Abstract

The Beam Steering Mirror (BSM) mechanism for the AEOLUS-2 mission will provide a co-alignment between the emitted beam toward the receiver path as part of the instrument consolidation study. Based on lessons learned from the AEOLUS mission, the BSM is a new development as part of a risk mitigation program for the new architecture of the instrument.
