Abstract
Patients suffering from cardiovascular disease receive sporadic feedback at doctor visits, or later on, when facing symptoms. In collaboration with other partners of the European project HeartCycle, CSEM developed two sensor systems, the first one performing vital-sign monitoring during physical exercise and the second one measuring oxygen saturation on the chest. A clinical study was performed in three countries confirming performance and usability of these sensors. These sensors represent a nice application of CSEM' biomedical monitoring platforms.
