Non-Exclusive Distribution License Agreement Introduction CSEM supports the facilitation of Open Access to results of publicly funded research. To enable CSEM to make these results available on its Object Digital Archive “YODA”, the author(s) need to grant CSEM the permission to store, copy and migrate their submissions so that CSEM can ensure their access and preservation in the future. This is the purpose of the present license agreement. Distribution License The distribution license is granted during the process of entering the data into the YODA archive database, by selecting 'I Grant the License'; and then by clicking 'Complete Submission'. By granting this license, you (the author(s) or copyright owner) grants to CSEM Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology S.A (CSEM) the non-exclusive right to reproduce, translate (as defined below), and/or distribute your submission (including the abstract) worldwide, in print and electronic format and in any medium, including but not limited to audio or video. You agree that, where legally possible, your submission will be made available to users under the terms of the Creative Commons license of CSEM’s choice. You agree that CSEM may, without changing the content, translate the submission to any medium or format for the purpose of preservation. You agree that CSEM may keep more than one copy of the submission for purposes of security, back-upand preservation. You acknowledge and agree that this agreement entitles the author(s) or copyright holder(s) to no royalties or fees. You represent that the submission is your original work, and that you have the right to grant the rightscontained in this license. In particular, if the submission is a multi-authored work, you represent have obtained permission from each author of the submission to enter into this distribution license agreement. You also represent that your submission does not, to the best of your knowledge, infringe upon anyone's copyright or other intellectual property rights. If the submission contains material for which you do not hold copyright, you represent that you have obtained the unrestricted permission of the copyright owner to grant CSEM the rights required by this license, and that such third-party owned material is clearly identified and acknowledged within the text or content of the submission. If the research is based upon work that has been sponsored or supported by an agency or organization other than CSEM, you represent that you have fulfilled any right of review or other obligations required by such contract or agreement. CSEM will clearly identify your name(s) as the author(s) or owner(s) of the submission, and will not make any alteration, other than as allowed by this license, to your submission.
